Our Journey

1991

Tool Innovation Begins in Sorel, Quebec

Eddy 91 launches its first floor scraper—starting over 30 years of engineering rugged, jobsite-ready equipment.

1999

Eddy USA

With growing demand for professional floor-prep solutions in the USA, Eddy establishes Eddy USA in south Florida to locally support the growing demand for our products across the USA. Eddy USA also supports sales and service across the Caribbean.

2007

Scaling Up: New Canadian Headquarters

Increased manufacturing capacity and customer service come alive in a new facility in Nicolet QC.

2012

Introducing the Eddy Tile Breaker

Responding to marketplace demand, Eddy launches the Tile Breaker, a portable and lightweight all-in-one demolition hammer designed to effectively remove ceramic and porcelain tile, and thin-set/mortar.

2018

Rebrand

Under new leadership, Eddy 91 is rebranded as Eddy Floor Tools, with a commitment to strategic expansion.

2020

SANicolet

Eddy establishes SANicolet to provide critical pandemic related products throughout North America and western Europe. SANicolet's Terminator Electro-Static sprayer is quickly accepted in the agricultural industry in Scandinavia.

2022

Nemo Partnership

Eddy partners with Nemo Power Tools to distribute Grabo flooring tools across Canada.

2023

New Ownership and International Vision

Under new ownership and leadership, Eddy enters a era of growth and expansion into the western USA and Europe with new products, an improved online presence and new partners.

2025

Mabi Tools Partnership

Eddy partners with Mabi Tools to distribute pneumatic scrapers across the North American flooring industry.

2025

New Websites

Eddy launches new Canadian, American and European websites with updated features and improved functionality to better serve Eddy's growing customer base.

“I did not buy this but instead rented it from my local store. I loved it so much I wanted to write a review to help others. I was trying to remove 3/16″ vinyl tiles that were glued down to concrete. Doing it with a hand scrapper was not working because they were bonded very well. It took me two hours to do 10 sqft by hand. I rented this unit and in 2-3 hours I had finished 600 sqft.
